Terry Fox Run

Raise funds for cancer research.

Registration: 9am at Isaac's Pub.
Start: 10am.
Distance: 2.5 km or 5km course.

Participate by foot, bike, rollerblades or wheelchair.

Enter as individuals, families or teams from businesses, service clubs or other groups. There is no minimum donation or entry fee but participants are encouraged to collect pledges.

Join us after the run for a tour of the Terry Fox Cancer Lab at Brock. See where your funds go!

Event will be followed by a free barbecue courtesy of Cafe Amore. Visit vendor booths for free water from Canadian Tire, free coffee from Starbucks, Gatorade from Good Life, free dog treats from Pet Smart, and more.

Giant FM on-site providing music and emceeing the event.

In support of the Niagara Children's Centre.

Early bird registration until Aug. 15: $15.25 for adults; $10.25 for kids.
Registration after Aug. 15: $20 for adults; $15 for kids.

Run features a 1-km fun run/walk, a 2.5-km run/walk and a 5-km run.

Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favourite superheroes.

Walk a Mile in HER Shoes

Walk a Mile in HER Shoes is a symbolic gesture of men marching in female footwear to raise awareness and funds for the issue of violence against women and children. The Walk gives men the opportunity to publicly take a stand, and it shows that men are willing to stand together with women in making the world a safer place for all women and children.

100% of the proceeds from the event support Gillian's Place shelter for abused women and children.
